The exhibition brings together storytelling, photography, and writing to reflect on the lives of Afghan girls who have been excluded from education. While the lack of papers prevented many of them from crossing borders and continuing their studies, we used paper to carry their words beyond borders. Through art and narrative, their voices find a way to be heard.
The evening will begin with a live reading of one of my stories, followed by a photography and writing exhibition created entirely by Afghan women.
